Escape?

I woke up at dawn and could not get back to sleep. And by eight in the morning of my school vacation, I was back at my work station. Groped through the dark in the deserted staff room.
A cup of coffee, accompanied only by my favourite songs playing from my mp3, staring at the monitor, pecking on the keyboard. Completing some reports and tying some loose ends before leaving for Shanghai this weekend.
Yes! I have accepted an invitation for work attachment in Shanghai Singapore International School. This work experience will polish up my professional portfolio and help to reposition myself in my teaching career.
And maybe, ease the nagging pain that lingers.

what about the kids? hugs… not entirely sure what happened… but shanghai at this time of the year is cold… bring warm clothes there…
